Titular Feast Day Plans

According to Theresa K:

We will be having a Mass on Wednesday, Oct. 1st at 6:30 p.m. All servers are welcome to come and vest. Please have them arrive by 6:15 p.m. Any girl (junior high or older) who wants to be a part of the Honor Guard needs to call me (486-3746). I haven't had any calls and would like to have at least four. We will meet in the Rectory basement no later than 6:15 to put on the gowns and get quick instructions. Also, if any of the Youth JAM students have younger sisters who would like to dress as St. Teresa, they may do so and meet in KH by 6:15 so we can organize the girls. It would be helpful if their parents gave me a call so I know how many pews to reserve.

Finally, we will be having a little reception in KH following the Mass. We will be serving cookies, punch and coffee. Encourage the students to come down to help celebrate our Feast Day.

On another note, Tuesday, September 30th at 7:00 p.m. are our usual St. Teresa Devotions. Since this is the day St. Teresa died, Monsignor will read the last words of St. Teresa and then give a short reflection on these words. The Devotions will end at the usual time with Benediction at 7:25. If anyone is able to stay longer, Monsignor is planning on giving a spiritual reflection on the life and spirituality of St. Teresa following Devotions. The Eucharist will remain exposed with another Benediction and Reposition at 8:45 p.m. All are encouraged to come and spend a little time adoring our Eucharistic Lord.
